Clarity from complexity. Vision into action.

My superpower is asking the right questions until alignment emerges. I dive deep into the problems businesses face, understand the needs of internal and external users, then bring clear vision and actionable requirements to the team for execution and iteration.

At Alaska Airlines, I led the international travel experience product portfolio—a platform spanning iOS, Android, and Web that integrates AI-powered document verification, passport capture, and modernized check-in for millions of guests across two airline brands. Before that, I built digital aviation SaaS at Boeing/Jeppesen, launched Spectrum Mobile at Charter Communications through Slalom, and drove a 17% enrollment increase at Aetna through digital redesign.

“I thrive on ownership, bringing clarity to ambiguity, and creating environments where talented people can do their best work.”

I immigrated to the United States as a teenager, building a career with determination and resilience. My multicultural background, speaking English, Hindi, and Tamil fluently, enriches how I think about user experience, accessibility, and inclusive product design. I've traveled to 35 countries and counting. It's allowed me to connect with people from all walks of life and shapes how I build products with inclusive design in mind.

Problems I've solved.

Digital Document Verification (DocV)
Alaska Airlines & Hawaiian Airlines · iOS, Android, Web
International travelers were forced to call in or visit the airport to verify travel documents, creating friction, increasing operational costs, and driving poor NPS.
Led the 0-to-1 product initiative integrating Jumio's identity verification API with IATA's Timatic regulatory database. Scoped all edge cases including 207 passport nationalities, minors, and traveling with pets. Designed a phased rollout via Optimizely across pilot routes, with comprehensive GTM, RACI, and success metrics.
Delivered a fully self-service document verification experience completing in under two minutes across iOS, Android, and Web, serving both Alaska and Hawaiian Airlines brands.

Check-in Modernization & Revenue Growth
Alaska Airlines · Product-Led Growth
Alaska's check-in platform ran on aging legacy architecture with low digital adoption and limited e-commerce capability.
Led the end-to-end modernization, building a comprehensive roadmap, creating a testing process that balanced revenue upsell goals with customer satisfaction, and establishing data-driven feedback loops to continuously optimize conversion. Led the Boarding Pass Redesign by conducting competitive analysis and prioritizing the details travelers need most: gate changes, seat assignments, boarding times, flight delays, TSA PreCheck, loyalty status, and document verification status.
Drove 87% digital self-service adoption while generating $2M/month in new ancillary revenue from bags and seat upgrades. Delivered an in-house boarding pass generator with digital wallet integration, replacing third-party dependencies and giving e-commerce full control over the traveler experience.

Carrier Connect Marketplace
Alaska Airlines & Oneworld Partners
Co-led the development of a marketplace platform enabling cross-app discovery for Alaska and Oneworld alliance partners. Defined the value proposition, platform scalability requirements, and integration architecture to create new customer acquisition channels and seamless partner check-in experiences, ensuring that Alaska travelers connecting to Oneworld partners could check in to both segments from the Alaska app and vice versa.
